A note on 9 October. ICC’s announcement describes Zimbabwe’s opening opponent in three different ways across the same article. Super 7 schedule

Twenty-one matches, a single round robin between the seven surviving teams. Fixtures are pre-seeded, meaning each slot is fixed in advance and filled by whichever team finishes in that position. The seeded team shown in brackets is ICC’s own placeholder, not a prediction of who will fill the slot.

What time will matches start in India and Pakistan?

ICC has not released start times. We are not going to guess them.

What is known: all South African venues run on SAST, which is UTC+2. That is 3 hours 30 minutes behind IST and 3 hours behind PKT. Zimbabwe is on CAT, also UTC+2. Namibia is on WAT, UTC+2, for the tournament period. So once ICC publishes a local start time, an Indian reader adds 3 hours 30 minutes and a Pakistani reader adds 3 hours.

A 14:00 local start would therefore be 17:30 IST and 17:00 PKT. We will publish the converted table for every fixture as soon as the times are official.

Frequently asked questions

Fifty-seven: three in the Super Series, 30 in the group stage, 21 in the Super 7, two semi-finals and the final.

When is India v Pakistan at the 2027 World Cup?

Twice, if both progress. The group-stage match is at Johannesburg on 10 October 2027. A pre-seeded Super 7 fixture is at Cape Town on 7 November 2027.

Where is the 2027 World Cup final?

Johannesburg, on Sunday 21 November 2027, with 22 November held as a reserve day.

What are QF1, QF2 and QF3 in the fixture list?

They are the teams finishing second, third and fourth at the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in February and March 2027. They play the Super Series in Windhoek, and only the winner reaches the group stage.

What do A1, B2 and AB4 mean in the Super 7 fixtures?

They are seeded positions, not teams. A1 is the team finishing first in Group A, B2 is second in Group B, and AB4 is the best fourth-placed team across both groups. ICC shows a placeholder team name in brackets.

Do the 2027 World Cup matches have reserve days?

Both semi-finals have a reserve day, and the final has a reserve day on 22 November 2027. ICC has not published reserve days for group-stage matches.

How this page is maintained

Every one of the 57 fixtures above was transcribed from ICC’s official fixture announcement of 1 October 2026 and counted against the 57-match total ICC states for the tournament. Where that announcement contradicts itself, we follow its day-by-day list and say so on the page.

Start times and broadcast details are not published yet, so they are not on this page. Last updated 28 October 2026.
